1.ブラウザーで「https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/WebGS/WGS/wgs_prepare.html?lng=en&type=setup&area=jp&mdl=G6030&os=w]と検索して、「If you have already prepared your printer, go to Connect」をクリック。

「Download」をクリックし、ダウンロードが終了したら実行する。

2.セットアップ画面が出てきたら「セットアップ開始」を押す。

3.「次へ」を押す。

情報のダウンロードが開始される。ここで少し時間がかかることがある。

4.使用許諾契約に「はい」と押す。

次に表示される各種サービスをご利用いただく上でのお願いに「同意する」を押す。

5.接続方法の確認画面が表示される。「はい」を押すとMPドライバーのインストールが開始される。場合によっては接続方法を聞かれるので選択肢2の「有線接続」を選択する。プリンターの電源が入っていないとうまくいかないので注意。この図は405のプリンターのほう。311の場合はシリアルナンバーの最後が18860となっている。

表示された接続先候補をクリックして実行する。写真未掲載のため注意。

6.テストプリントを実行する。

終わったら「次へ」を押す。

7.「次へ」を押す。

8.「次へ」を押す。あとに続く無料会員登録の手続きは「スキップ」して終了。

HL-3170CDWのソフトウェアのダウンロードが必要になります。以下はWindowsでの手順ですが、1のOSの選択でMacを選べばほかはそこまで変わらないかと思われますが、確認ができないため申し訳ありません。共有フォルダ\\share.s\Shared\Software\windows\HL-3170CDWにダウンロードしたものを置いておくのでもしうまくいかない場合はそちらで試してみてください。

1.上のURLを開き、「1.OSを選んでください」「2.OSのバージョンを選んでください」で自分のOSとバージョンを選択し、「決定」をクリック。（上記のURLが開けない場合は「HL-3170CDW」で検索し、「ソフトウェアダウンロード｜HL-3710CDW」というサイトを探してください。）

2.「フルパッケージダウンロード(推奨)」をクリック。

3.「使用許諾に同意してダウンロード」をクリックし、HL-3170CDWのソフトウェアをダウンロードする。

4.ダウンロードが完了したら、保存されたHL-3170CDW-inst-B1-jpn　を実行する。

5.「接続方式」で「有線LAN接続(イーサネット)」を選択し、「次へ」をクリック。

6.「接続の選択」で「Brother ピアツーピア ネットワークプリンター」を選択し、「次へ」をクリック。

7.「ファイアーオールが検出されました」で「ファイアーウォールの設定を本製品と通信が行えるように変更し、インストールを実行します(推奨)」を選択し、「次へ」をクリック。

8.「機能の選択」で「ネットワークプリンタードライバー」と「ステータスモニター」(不要かもしれない)を選択し、「次へ」をクリック。

9.「本製品の選択」で「IPアドレス」に「192.168.253.5」が現れている場合、そのIPアドレスを選択し、「次へ」をクリック。もしない場合は手動で「IPアドレス」の項目に「192.168.253.5」を入力し、251室のHL-3170CDWを探してもらう形になります。

10.「製品マニュアル」、もし製品マニュアルが欲しい場合は「ウェブへアクセス」をクリック。特に必要なければ、「次へ」をクリック。

11.「オンラインユーザー登録」特に必要ありませんのでそのまま「次へ」をクリック。

12.「セットアップ完了」で不要な項目のチェックを外しつつ(自分はすべての項目にチェックを入れています)、「次へ」をクリック。

13.「ソフトウェア更新情報」で更新情報が欲しい場合は「更新情報を受信する(推奨)」を、不要な場合は「更新情報を受信しない」を選択し、「OK」をクリック。

14.これで印刷の準備が完了しているはずなので試しに印刷をお願いします。もしできない場合は伊藤までご連絡ください。

1.Click the URL above. If you can't open the URL above, Search the Internet for “HL-3170CDW” and look for a website with “Downloads|HL-3170CDW”.

2.In step1 Select your OS family and in step2 select your OS version. Then click 'OK'.

3.Click 'Full Driver & Software Package (Recommended)'.

4.Click 'Agree to the EULA and Download'.

5.If the download is completed, run the file 'HL-3170CDW-inst-B1-asa'.

6.Select your language.

7.In the 'License Agreement', select 'yes'.

8.In the 'Connection Type', select 'Wired Network Connection(Ethernet)'

9.In the 'Select Connection', select 'Brother Peer-to-Peer Network Printer'.

10.In the 'Firewall/Antivirus detected', select 'Change the Fierwall port settings to enable network connection and continue with the installation.(Recommended)'.

11.If “192.168.253.3” is in the IP address field, select that IP address. If you cannot find this IP address, enter “192.168.253.3” manually in the IP address field.

12.If you need user's guide, click 'View Manuals on the Web'. If you finish reading it or don't need it, click 'next'.

13.In 'Environmental Advice for Imagining Equipment', click 'next'.

14.You don't need On-Line Registration, so click 'next'.

15.In 'Setup is Complete', uncheck unnecessary items, click 'next' (I unchecked no items, but there is no problems so far.)

16.When the installation is finished, try printing. If there is a problem, please contact Ito.
